Give a Gift Policy

At Paws & Whiskers Co., we believe gift-giving should be simple, personal, and memorable—for both the giver and the recipient. Our Give a Gift program allows you to share our hand-crafted, American-made pet products and gift cards with friends, family, or fellow pet lovers in a way that’s convenient, flexible, and worry-free.


1. Types of Gifts Available

We offer two primary gifting options:

  1. Digital Gift Cards

    • Available in multiple denominations to fit any budget.

    • Delivered instantly via email to the recipient’s inbox, or scheduled for a future date.

    • Redeemable for any product on our website, including sale and subscription items (unless otherwise noted).

    • Never expire and carry no service fees.

  2. Shipped Gift Orders

    • Select any product in our store and send it directly to the recipient’s address.

    • Option to include a personalized message at checkout, printed on a complimentary gift note.

    • Gift wrapping services available for an additional fee (when offered seasonally).


2. Purchasing a Gift Card

  • Gift cards can be purchased directly through our Gift Card page or selected during checkout as an alternative to physical items.

  • Multiple gift cards can be purchased in one order, each with its own recipient email address.

  • Payment for gift cards is charged immediately upon purchase.


3. Redeeming a Gift Card

  • Recipients can redeem their gift card by entering the unique code provided in the confirmation email at checkout.

  • If the purchase amount exceeds the gift card balance, the remaining balance can be paid using any accepted payment method.

  • Gift card balances can be checked anytime by contacting support@pawsandwhiskersco.com.


4. Refunds & Exchanges for Gift Purchases

  • Gift Cards: All gift card sales are final and non-refundable. They cannot be redeemed for cash unless required by law.

  • Physical Gift Orders: Items purchased as a gift follow our Returns & Exchanges Policy, but refunds are issued to the original payment method of the purchaser, not the recipient. Alternatively, the recipient may choose store credit.


5. Lost or Stolen Gift Cards

We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or unauthorized use of gift cards. However, if you provide proof of purchase, we may be able to reissue the card’s remaining balance.


6. Sending Gifts Directly

When shipping a gift directly to the recipient:

  • Double-check the recipient’s address at checkout. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect addresses.

  • You may include a personal message in the “Gift Message” box during checkout, which we will print on a gift note included in the package.

  • Pricing details are never included in gift shipments.


7. Seasonal & Promotional Gift Options

From time to time, we offer limited-edition gift bundles, holiday-themed packaging, or seasonal promotions. These may have unique terms regarding availability, shipping deadlines, and return eligibility, which will be clearly stated on the product page.


8. Expiration & Legal Compliance

Our gift cards never expire and carry no hidden fees. This policy complies with applicable U.S. state and federal regulations governing gift cards and certificates.
